Nothing new to see here. Self aware AI, creepy little girls, murder robots; it’s been done before. The original Child’s Play set the standard for this sort of thing, and the 2019 reboot played around with tech gone wrong to better results. Honorable mention to Annabelle and Small Soldiers. I didn’t expect more than a fun light horror movie, but the writing was bad and predictable.
